Lou Correa was elected to the 34th Senate District in 2006 and reelected for a second and final term in 2010, representing Anaheim, Buena Park, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.

Mijares was appointed Orange County Superintendent of Schools in August 2012, and prior to that time he served for six years as the Vice President of the College Board where he worked to expand the high school-to-university pipeline, in order to assure the college readiness and success for students, especially the underrepresented.

Dr. Navarro serves as the superintendent of the Newport-Mesa Unified School District. He is also the former Assistant Superintendent of the Anaheim Union High School District. Maureen served on many committees under Dr. Navarro's leadership while he served in Anaheim.
AUHSD Trustee
Anna Piercy is a Southern California native. She is a graduate of the California public school system and an Alumni of California State University, Long Beach. Not only has she been an active member of the Anaheim Union High School District Board of Trustees for the last eight years, but she also was a teacher in the Anaheim Union High School District for 37 years. In addition she served the residents in the city of Cypress as Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem, and Councilwoman over an eight year, two-term period.
